WYNWOOD IS MIAMI’S NEW HOTSPOT

There are many places to eat and art galleries. There big event is on the 2nd Saturday of every month called Wynwood Art Walk. It’s a big huge block party where businesses get together and you can enjoy live music, art, and food. What attracts people to Wynwood instead of South beach is the dress code is casual and there are no cover charges to get into the bars.

Of course, South Beach is the glitz of Miami, but more and more people are leading to Wynwood when wanting a night out in town. Lila Rivera, the Miami swimsuit designer of the Lila Nikole Swimwear brand, has had several fashion shows in Wynwood. She says, “Wynwood is hip and modern with fine food, arts, and music. The area is being gentrified.”

One of the main attractions in Wynwood is called the Wynwood Walls. It is an art gallery of walls with art painted on them. The great part is outdoors and people can enjoy the sunny Miami weather while enjoying art. You can see many tourists from all over the world here. Within the Wynwood Walls there is also another area called Wynwood Doors which has more wall murals and even artsy statue. You can then enter the GGA Gallery that is open to the public. Once you enter you can view several artworks in all forms. From neon lights to paintings that you can also purchase. There is also another art gallery with different types of art like chandeliers. The nightlife is more unique as most places are outdoor venues and include food options. Not what you get in South Beach. If you are ever in Miami, Wynwood is definitely a place to check out.
